Letter: Travelers touched by concern of local folks

To the Editor:

I am writing to you to ask you to forward our sincere thanks to the people of Seymour for their concern and caring actions toward my husband and myself on the night of Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014.

On that day, my husband and I were fortunate enough to witness the “Comeback Football Game of the Century” when we attended the Indianapolis Colts playoff game in Indianapolis that night.

Due to the impending snowstorm that was to hit Indiana that same night, we decided to leave town and drive to Lexington, Ky., on our way home to Virginia.
