“Journals of Lewis and Clark” is the focus of a free book discussion for adults at 6 p.m. Feb. 19 in the Crothersville Library meeting room.
Bernard DeVoto begins this volume with a 60-page introduction that explains the historical background to the Lewis and Clark expedition. Then he allows Lewis, Clark and, on occasion, other members of the Corps of Discovery to convey with their own words the drama, excitement and high adventure of this historic undertaking.
