Learning to be a Plugged In Parent is the topic of the program to given by social worker Tracy Pike at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 10, at the Seymour Library.

This presentation will offer practical information and resources for families to use in establishing life-long, effective and age-appropriate conversations about healthy decision making.
Participants will learn how and why they need to be involved in the lives of their teens, how to think critically about media, how to communicate standards of expected behavior and what constitutes strong, supportive parent-child relationships.
Pike is an experienced teen and adult social worker with Pregnancy Care Center of South Central Indiana.
