Library to present video on obesity crisis

The Jackson County Public Library plans to host a screening of HBO’s video series “The Weight of the Nation,” addressing the national childhood obesity epidemic, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Seymour Library.

The series also highlights how individuals, worksites and communities are making positive changes. The public is invited to attend.

The program will be led by Molly Marshall, a registered dietitian and chairwoman of the Healthy Jackson County Initiative.
