Jackson County Public Library board of trustees approved changing hours for the Seymour Library on Sunday because of the Seymour Grand Prix, which is going to be held in downtown Seymour for the first time.
The board, which met June 19, decided the Seymour library would be open from noon to 4 p.m. Racing begins at 1 p.m. with streets on two sides of the building to be closed at noon.
The board is asking race spectators to park elsewhere downtown on both Saturday and Sunday to allow library customers access to the library.
