Library Week set for next week

Jackson County Public Library will celebrate You Belong @ Your Library during National Library Week next week.

“Today’s libraries help level the playing field by making both print and digital information affordable, available and accessible to all people,” Melessa Wiesehan of the local library’s youth services department said. “Libraries have historically served as our nation’s great equalizers of knowledge.”

Jackson County Public Library is celebrating National Library Week with themed poster and book displays and distributing winning bookmarks from this year’s bookmark contest at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries and on the Discovery Bus.
