Lilly Endowment announces 6th phase of initiative

Lilly Endowment recently announced the sixth phase of its Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow initiative for the state’s 94 community foundations and county affiliate funds.

The Community Foundation of Jackson County stands to collect as much as $500,000 in matching Lilly funds to help address needs across the county’s communities, said Dan Davis, president and CEO of the foundation.

Begun nearly 25 years ago, the GIFT initiative was designed to help communities develop the philanthropic capacity to address their own needs and challenges.
