Lions snap Hornets' winning streak



SELLERSBURG

The Medora boys basketball team's winning streak came to an end with Monday's 90-41 loss at Rock Creek Academy.

Going into the game, Medora had won five straight games and was 6-1 for the month.

The Hornets, though, were outscored 23-10 in the first quarter and trailed 53-18 at halftime.

Kam Flynn was the only Medora player to reach double figures, scoring 11 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter. He hit five 3-pointers. The Hornets dropped to 8-10.

Will Brown of Rock Creek (12-9) led all scorers with 25 points, including six 3s, and was one of four Lions reaching double digits. The team made 14 3s.
