All Thumbs Garden Club met recently at Ewing Uniques, 1050 W. Spring St., Brownstown.
Elaine Sterling gave the program and presented a swag arrangement of dried material, which contained magnolia flowers as the center attraction. She also made one in a black pedestal container using fresh eggplant, squash, artichokes and greenery to complete the arrangement.
President Barb Guthrie called the meeting to order with 17 members answering roll call and the minutes and treasurer report were given at this time.
Guthrie announced the deadline for the Southeast District meeting at Hope, which will be Monday.
Jeanne Morris and Nancy Fleming met with Kevin Greene at Artistic Impressions in Seymour to pick a frame and mat to complete the plaque made for Janet Nolting. The plaque will be hung at the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts in her memory.
Peg Ackerman and Suzi Judd were hostesses for the meeting. Rosemary Jenkinson won the “Glad You Came” prize. Nancy Fleming and Donna Moore plan to take plants to the hospital gift shop this month.
