All Seasons Garden Club met recently at the home of Shirley Lewis with Joan Thompson as co-hostess.
David Waggoner, a beekeeper from Honeytown, was guest speaker. Waggoner, who began beekeeping in 1959, gave a presentation about bees and the honey they produce.
Members were given a tour of Lewis’ gardens, and 13 members responded to roll call. The secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were given. It was reported the annual Southeast District meeting will be Oct. 15 at Hope.
Garden parties for Lutheran Home residents were discussed and club members will clean the gardens after the first frost.
Next meeting will be Monday with Becky Hackman and Martha Wilson as hostesses.
