Golfers participating in the 32nd annual Dr. “Bud” Charity Golf Open at Shadowood Golf Course in Seymour were probably glad they were playing on Wednesday instead of today.
The temperature reached the mid 80s on Wednesday, but it’s supposed to reach 100 degrees today.
“We have been surprisingly blessed over the 30 years with almost reproducible, wonderful weather,” Dr. George Weir said after finishing up play on the ninth hole. “Just think, this could be (today, when it’s supposed to be really hot).”
