Loud targets draw notice

A rural Seymour woman wants a neighbor to curb his use of exploding targets and asked county commissioners for their help in ensuring he does so.

Judy Broshears, who lives in the area of County Road 400N and U.S. 31 in the eastern part of the county, said she has asked the neighbor to stop shooting the exploding targets because he does so at all hours of the day and even at night, waking neighbors.

Broshears said she knows there are no laws against using the exploding targets, which are made for firearms practice.
