MainSource Bank executives along with Seymour Mayor Craig Luedeman, state District 69 Rep. Jim Lucas, R-Seymour, and employees from Goecker Construction Inc. participated in a groundbreaking ceremony Dec. 11 for the bank’s new Seymour office at 1130 E. Tipton St.
The groundbreaking was the official start of construction on the office, which was designed by Ryan Bank Concepts and Columbus-based architect, Nolan Bingham.
Goecker Construction Inc., which is locally owned, will erect the building. The office will feature a glass entrance and lobby as well as a community room. The community room will be equipped with state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment and seating for 30 people. It will be open to any resident or organization in the Seymour area to use free of charge.
