Construction of a practice soccer field on county-owned land in Brownstown has been pushed back to 2014 because of last-minute issues.
The issues arose during a recent county commissioners meeting. County park board president Larry Raymer told commissioners he had some concerns about an inter-local agreement between commissioners and the park board.
The biggest stumbling block is who will mow and maintain the 9.56-acre site just south of the county park at Walnut and Jackson streets.
