A 45-year-old Jennings County man accused of conspiracy to commit murder refused to talk with police after his arrest Friday evening.

Daniel Rogers of North Vernon instead asked that his attorney be present before he talked with investigators, according to a press release issued by Officer Justin Black.

Rogers was booked into the Jennings County Jail at 9:30 p.m., and he continued to be held there on a $300,000 bond, according to Black, the department’s public information officer.
