Man arrested near home on voyeurism charge

A Lawrence County man who works in Seymour faces criminal charges related to an incident early Friday in a neighborhood on the south side of the city, police said.

David Martinez, 54, Bedford, faces charges of resisting law enforcement and voyeurism after the incident reported at 4:50 a.m. in the 1000 block of Gaiser Drive, Police Chief Bill Abbott said.

Abbott said the arrest stems from an investigation into information police received about a man walking around that area in the mornings.

“He was targeting one residence,” Abbott said.
