A Missouri man briefly escaped from police and avoided being tased before his eventual arrest this week.

Spencer David Rehm, 24, of St. Joseph, Mo., was arrested Tuesday night along State Road 250 near Uniontown after escaping from Trooper Matt Holley, Sgt. Noel Houze of the Indiana State Police said Thursday.

Rehm and another Missouri resident, Whitney Nichole Koontz, 24, were arrested after Holley discovered the car they were driving had been stolen.
