A Brownstown man whose pattern of lies helped him solicit money from residents faces charges of theft and attempted theft, police said.
Robert L. Hollin Jr., 30, was arrested Wednesday on seven counts of theft and one count of attempted theft. He was booked into Jackson County Jail at 4:41 p.m.
Hollin also had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation. He was being held without bond at the jail Thursday.
