Mayor to seek funding for more Seymour trails

Three years from now, Mayor Craig Luedeman hopes Seymour is adding sidewalks and trails to make it easier and safer for pedestrian travel.

He plans to request funding from the Indiana Department of Transportation this spring for projects to begin in 2017.

On April 14, the state will accept applications from cities, towns and counties across the state to share $86 million in federal transportation funding.
