Medora Christian Church has begun preparations for its annual Community Thanksgiving Day on Sunday at the church, 76 S. George St.
Serving will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the 237 Building and continue through 1 p.m. The community is invited.
The traditional Thanksgiving Dinner will consist of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, rolls and assorted pies and desserts as well as tea, lemonade and coffee.
Those attending may take a meal to a shut-in or family member unable to attend.
The meal is free because the food has been donated.
