A loss of electrical service in Medora didn’t keep Carr Township children from starting school on time Tuesday morning.

Power was back on at Medora Community Schools and elsewhere in town just as school buses rolled up to let children off, Superintendent Tom Judd said.

News of the blackout came too late for Judd to call for a delay in the start of school, but that worked out OK, he said.
