The recent arrest of a 28-year-old Medora man in connection with a burglary in 2012 stems from DNA collected from items at the crime scene, police report.

Timothy Wayne Edwards of 199 S. Jackson St. faces a Class B felony charge of burglary and attempted theft. He was arrested at the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown, Detective Ben Rudolph with the sheriff’s department said.

Edwards was already in jail on a driving while suspended charge with a prior conviction within 10 years at the time of his arrest. Medora Town Marshal Steve Ingle made the driving while suspended arrest Feb. 7.
