Medora school day gets longer

Medora students will spend another hour in the classroom beginning Feb. 21 to make up 10 days they’ve missed because of bad weather and dangerous roads.

Trustees of Medora Community Schools received that word from Superintendent Tom Judd on Monday night.

Judd said, as of Monday, students had missed 15 days. The calendar included three built-in snow days, Jan. 20, Feb. 17 and April 21, and the district applied for a waiver for two days, Jan. 6 to 7.
