Educator would help 4-year-olds get ready for kindergarten

Medora Community School is searching for a preschool teacher for the next school year.

Trustees approved a half-day preschool program this week. Funding will come through federal Title I tax dollars and a $30,000 grant from the Jackson County Education Coalition.

The coalition is a partnership between local education, business and community leaders focused on improving the county’s learning system and integrating it with economic growth and a high quality of life, director Dan Hodge said.
