A big, beautiful smile. A willingness to stand up for others and what’s right. Outgoing.
Those were among things students and administrators recalled over the weekend about a Medora High School student who died Friday night in a hit-and-run wreck in Lawrence County.
Counselors planned to gather students today to help them deal with the death of sophomore Kassi Richel Lewis-Yoskovich, 16, who was a cheerleader, volleyball player and role model for the Hornets.
A classmate, freshman Noah Brown, 14, remained at Riley Hospital for Children on Sunday in Indianapolis, where he was flown for treatment for leg and hip injuries following the wreck.
