Medora teacher receives award



Medora Community Schools teacher Loris Hubbard recently received the Jean Ann Behney Endowment Award.

This grant is from an endowment fund established in memory of Jean Ann Behney and is administered through Purdue University and the Jackson County Extension Office.

The Jean Ann Behney Endowment award was established to honor a woman who was dedicated to the education of rural children through literature and creative teaching methods, according to a news release from the county extension office in Brownstown.
