After their daughter was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, Rachel and Jerry Cravens of Seymour wanted to get involved in raising awareness of the disorder.

“There just wasn’t anything in our area,” Rachel Cravens said.

So the Cravens family took matters into their own hands to raise funds and bring awareness to the disease affecting their daughter. When Megan was just 5 years old, they started Megan’s Wish, a dinner and live auction, to raise money for the Great Strides walk for cystic fibrosis in Columbus.
