BROWNSTOWN
A Jackson County man who recently pleaded guilty to dealing in methamphetamine, a Class B felony, has received a 20-year prison term.
Michael L. Hunnicutt, 30, of the 600 block of West Seventh Street in Seymour, was sentenced by Senior Judge Bill Vance in Jackson Circuit Court. Vance ordered Hunnicutt to serve 12 years with the Indiana Department of Correction and suspended two years.
Vance said in his order that if Hunnicutt behaves himself in prison during the first 12 years, he would be eligible to spend the remaining six years on home detention.
