Soon after the Seymour High School boys basketball team finished the 2012-13 season with a 2-19 record, head coach Scott Miller was given the option to resign. If he didn’t do that, he would be fired.
Throughout the season, Miller said the players always gave a great effort and stuck together. That’s why he chose not to resign. He didn’t want to give up on them.
On Tuesday when the Seymour Community Schools board of trustees met, they unanimously approved the firing of Miller.
