Missing children found in Florida

The search for three children taken to Florida by their grandmother trying to avoid their removal from her home has come to an end.

Lisa McIntosh, 48, of North Vernon, and the children recently were found in Dade City in Pasco County, Florida. They remain there pending efforts by the Jennings County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana Department of Child Services to return all four to Indiana.

Detective Sgt. Jeff Jones McIntosh and Detective Sgt. Jim Blevins were able to locate McIntosh and the children while investigating a report about the missing children, who are 6 years old, 17 months old and 5 months old, according to a news release from the sheriff’s department.
