The search for a Whitley County woman reported missing early Wednesday in the Jackson-Washington State Forest just east of Brownstown ended with her safe discovery a few hours later, police reported.

Columbia City had been reported missing about 2 a.m. Wednesday by her 27-year-old boyfriend, Joshua Akers of Scottsburg, according to a news release from Indiana Conservation Officer Jim Schreck.
During the initial investigation, police learned Holloway and Akers had entered the state forest property after 11 p.m. Tuesday.
