When the sky is clear and the wind is low, planes of all sizes buzz around an abandoned runway at Seymour’s airport.

Southern Indiana Flying Eagles Radio Club members take the art of flying into their own hands.

Flying remote-control model airplanes since the 1970s, the group can be found at Freeman Field Municipal Airport near a north-south runway on most Sundays, unless its raining.
