The 86th annual Peacock reunion was conducted recently at the Jennings Township Conservation Club with 91 people in attendance. There were 129 people who registered during the day.
The Rev. Curtis Peacock gave the noon invocation, and president Roscoe Peacock called the reunion to order. Eunice Lacey read a poem, “Heaven,” by Daniel Murphy in memory of the seven who have passed away since last year.
Election of officers for 2014 was conducted and they are Roscoe Peacock, president; Andrew Walker, vice president; Eunice Lacey, secretary and treasurer; Billy Snowden, Lisa Conner and Angie Jones, program committee; Everett and Robert Peacock and Mike Payne, refreshment committee.
