One special night of worship early this year led Aaron Milbourn in a direction he never imagined — bringing people closer to God through music.
Although active at his family’s church in Connersville, Milbourn, 24, graduated from Anderson University in 2011 with a degree in marketing and went to work for a bank in Richmond.
“My family has always said I need to be a worship pastor, but I brushed it off,” he said.
But on Feb. 19, Milbourn started giving the idea serious thought.
“We had a night of worship, and it was just a whole new experience with God for me,” he said.
That night, Milbourn said, he discovered a passion for serving God by playing music and leading others in musical worship.
