New city facility throws recyclers for a loop

If you’re not sure where to take recycling in Seymour, you’re not alone.

The Seymour Department of Public Works has relocated to its new facility in Freeman Field Industrial Park, but the move is causing some confusion for recyclers.

People who usually drop off cardboard, aluminum cans and plastic bottles at the former recycling center, 1100 E. Fourth Street Road, are being met with concrete barriers and an empty lot.
