The Jackson County Public Library Board of Trustees recently welcomed its newest member.
Connie Adams of Seymour attended her first meeting as a member when the board convened for its February meeting at the Seymour Library.
She was appointed by the Jackson County Council until December 2016. She joins Josh Bartley of Medora, who joined the board in January and was appointed by the Jackson County Board of Commissioners for the same four-year term. Adams replaces Janis Brett and Bartley replaces Morris Tippin. Brett served on the board for 12 years and Tippin for four.
