Twice last season, the Seymour boys tennis team lost to Madison.
On Thursday night, the Owls had a chance to end that losing streak to the Cubs.
With the match tied at 2, Seymour’s No. 3 singles player, freshman Alex Berry, made the most of his chance in the spotlight by pulling out a three-set win to give the Owls a 3-2 triumph and even their record at 4-4.
