There’s an old saying that nothing makes a person more productive than the last minute. Decisions and deadlines that once were weeks and months ahead of you now loom directly ahead, sort of like the iceberg looming ahead of the Titanic.
It’s human nature for most people to procrastinate. Whether it be students cramming for a test, husbands buying a dozen roses on their way home from work (to avoid being accused of forgetting their anniversary date) or people completing their Christmas shopping, most people delay decisions until they have no choice but to act.
Sometimes, however, we get caught up doing other things and the deadline sneaks up on us. Oh, how sneaky something can be despite it being so well known.
