Nine-year-old Michael Guinn of Seymour didn’t need a lot of money or flashy makeup to draw attention to his Halloween costume.

“We just cut out holes in a cardboard box for my arms and painted it red. Then we attached red plastic lids,” Guinn said.

Add a red, hooded sweatshirt, and Guinn was transformed into a red Lego block.

“It was pretty easy, and I like Legos,” Guinn said while trick-or-treating with his family Monday night during Seymour Main Street’s annual Downtown Trick or Treat event.
