Downtown Seymour will come alive with witches, superheroes and ghouls Monday.
Seymour Main Street will sponsor its sixth annual Downtown Trick or Treat, and Seymour Evening Lions Club will stage its 42nd annual Costume Parade.
Seymour Police Chief Bill Abbott said events such as Downtown Trick or Treat and other events offer alternatives to traditional trick-or-treating in neighborhoods.
Children are invited to visit downtown Seymour stores and offices from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday.
