Jackson County election officials will not switch to voting centers for the 2014 election cycle.

Voting centers are polling places that combine precincts and allow voters to cast ballots regardless of where they live in a county.

Twelve Hoosier counties have made the switch through Dec. 19, said Brad King, co-director of the Indiana Election Division.
