Bariatric Medical Director Dr. David J. Lee and the Bariatric Center providers at Southern Indiana Surgery will offer free information sessions during October for people wanting to learn more about obesity and bariatric surgery.

The sessions will take place at Southern Indiana Surgery, 2325 18th St., Suite 220, in Columbus.

Sessions are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Oct. 3, Oct. 15 and Oct. 25. Topics include the causes of obesity, trends and quality of life issues, surgical options, lifestyle implications and whether the surgery is covered by insurance.
