New drug form concerns police

A new synthetic drug, N-Bome or 25-I, recently surfaced in Seymour, resulting in two overdoses involving teenagers.

A third case of the drug’s use was discovered last week when a Cottage Circle couple found a prowler in their garage and held him at gunpoint until police arrived.

Cody Bearden, 24, of Seymour, was arrested and charged with a Class B felony count of burglary. He later was charged with dealing in a controlled substance — N-Bome.
