Oktoberfest 5K race registration under way

The Oktoberfest 5K Run/Walk/Wheelchair Race, organized and presented by Seymour Oktoberfest Inc., is set for Oct. 6, starting at 8 a.m.

If you are registered by Friday, the cost to enter is $20, which includes a T-shirt. After Friday, the cost is $25, and T-shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis in limited sizes.

Registration the day of the race will be from 7 to 8 a.m. at the pool area on the north side of the Seymour High School gymnasium. Children 5 and younger may participate at no charge, and strollers are welcome.
