A rain shower wasn’t going to keep Faythe Burrell and her kids from watching the annual Seymour Oktoberfest parade Saturday afternoon.
It didn’t stop most other people, either. Thousands made their way downtown, umbrellas in hand, to watch the parade, a tradition 41 years in the making.
“A little rain isn’t going to ruin our parade,” Burrell said.
