Oktoberfest features annual polka, Chicken Dance contest

The sixth annual Polka and Chicken Dance Contest will be held on the west stage at 8 p.m. Saturday during Seymour Oktoberfest.

Sponsored by Seymour Oktoberfest and the ZweiteB Strasse (2nd Street Dancers), first-, second- and third-place trophies will be awarded in two categories – youths younger than 18, and adult ages 18 and older.

Registration begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by the contest at 8 p.m. Advance registration is not necessary.
