MOORESVILLE

Three Seymour wrestlers recorded three wins in the Mooresville Holiday Classic, which took place Friday and Saturday.

In the 285-pound division, Adam Wolka received a forfeit and won his next two matches by pin to reach the finals. A Northview wrestler, however, captured the crown with a 3-2 win in sudden victory.

At 145, the Owls’ Matthew Ruddick won by pin and ­technical fall but then lost by pin to enter the consolation bracket. He followed with a win by pin before losing by decision.

Seth Keith won by forfeit and pin at 113, and he wrestled one match at 126 and won by major decision.

Seymour wrestlers winning two bouts were Richard Rohde at 160 and Tyler Loud at 220.

Seymour placed 10th in the tournament with 90.5 points.

The Owls’ next match is Thursday at home against Columbus North.
