In the past four meetings between the Brownstown Central and Seymour girls basketball teams, Seymour’s margin of victory has ranged from three to eight points.

This season’s Jackson County rivalry game, tonight at Brownstown, is expected to again be competitive. It is The Tribune’s Girls Basketball Game of the Week.

“We feel like this is a good game for us with Seymour being a (Class) 4A school,” Brownstown coach Karla Rieckers said. “This is our last game before conference play begins, so we use it to see where we are at and what we need to improve on for the season.”
