Columbus North and Seymour posted season-high scores in Tuesday’s gymnastics meet at Gymnastics Lane in Seymour.

After the scores were tallied, Columbus North won the meet 107.65-103.075.

On Senior Night, though, Seymour’s Kelly Deppen won all-around with 36.575. She won vault (9.5) and floor (9.4) and placed second on bars (9.25) and fourth on beam (8.425).

“I felt vault was my strongest point,” Deppen said of posting a season-high score in that event. “It just felt really good, and I felt really confident about it. It’s one of those events that doesn’t really hurt my back.”

Deppen is dealing with a lingering back injury.

“I felt good about floor, and I felt good about bars except for my dismount because I felt like my bars was pretty tight, and I just didn’t stand up my dismount because of my back,” she said.

Seymour coach Angie Mellencamp said it was nice to see Deppen win all-around again. She has won it in every meet this season.
