Seymour High School basketball coach Scott Miller expects to lose his coaching job Tuesday night.
Miller has coached the boys varsity Owls since the 2001-2002 season. He led the school to a 123-132 record, including four winning seasons. The Owls finished 2-19 this season.
In an interview Tuesday afternoon, Miller confirmed that last week he was given the option to resign or be fired when the Seymour Community Schools Board of Trustees convened for its March meeting.
Miller said he intends to remain in his position as a high school social studies teacher at least through the end of this school year.
Athletic Director Brandon Harpe said he could not comment on personnel matters.
The school board was set to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the administration building.
